Raised in a musical household, Ilan Blustin—also known as Cowboy Allen Strings—was singing along to Patsy Cline records before he could read. His mother introduced him to music on the flute, and after experimenting with several instruments, he eventually found his home on the guitar, and a sound rooted in the traditions of artists like the Stanley Brothers, Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, and Colter Wall.  

A horseman and lifelong student of the land, Cowboy Allen Strings writes songs that bridge two worlds: the one a working man lives in, and the one he longs for. Drawing from life in construction, agriculture, and the saddle, his music reflects the grit, freedom, and quiet dignity of the American West.
